The EDDIE jacket was designed in reference to local French jeans brands of the 60s and 70s. Back in those days, several manufacturers in rural areas offered their interpretation of American clothing. Due to their limited access to original references and adapted industrial equipment, their productions were confined to a superficial – and sometimes slightly off – imitation of Western style.
We like these clothes because they created a new aesthetic, representing a fantasised version of Americana, locally manufactured with limited resources. We designed the EDDIE jacket as a tribute to these productions. A French vintage style work jacket disguised as an authentic cowboy jacket. The 10oz pure cotton denim is smooth, soft and durable.
Each jacket comes with a pin designed by Régric.
